If you answered a big YES, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a Support Worker to join our supported living service in South Birmingham, West Midlands.

Responsibilities

  • Support vulnerable older people in their own homes providing personalized care, including shopping, cooking and assistance with personal care.
  • Administer medication and maintain care, support and management skills as detailed within individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Record keeping, effective communication and teamwork to meet people’s needs.
  • Undertake training and development as necessary to develop your career.

Qualifications & Skills

  • NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working within a residential care or supported living setting with vulnerable people is ideal.
  • Demonstrate caring qualities, values, and willingness to develop your career.

As a Support Worker you will deliver our service in accordance with agreed standards with the Registered Manager and relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practice.
