Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and meticulous Technical Product Manager to nurture and enhance our core platform. Do you thrive on refining existing products and squeezing every ounce of performance out of them? Are you a master of detail, with a knack for spotting areas for improvement that others might miss? You have deep technical knowledge in SaaS and/or web applications? You love to dive deep into technical details and you don\’t shy away if the conversation becomes super technical? What you\’ll do:
- Own the product roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements that align with our business goals and deliver maximum value to our customers.
- Planning of the technical implementation: Leveraging your deep technical expertise, along with input from the development team, you will determine how new features should be implemented technically. In doing so, you’ll ensure compatibility, address security considerations, maintain scalability, manage costs, and optimize overall system performance.
- Lead the product team: Lead our talented product development team, guiding them through the implementation of new features and ensuring flawless execution. Our team lead will cover task management and software architecture.
- Embrace the iterative process: Continuously analyze product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on existing features to achieve optimal results.
- Be the guardian of quality: Maintain a laser focus on detail, ensuring every aspect of the product meets our high standards of usability and performance.
- Champion user needs: Deeply understand our users\’ pain points and desires, translating them into actionable product improvements.
- Define product features: Translate user needs and market opportunities into detailed product specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, and support to ensure successful product launches and iterations.
- Write product requirements in detail: Clearly and concisely document product requirements for the development team.
- Create product explainer videos and update the product documentation: Develop engaging materials to help users understand and utilize the product effectively.
What you\’ll bring:
- Proven experience: A successful track record managing and optimizing existing SaaS products (minimum 2 years).
- Strong technical experience: You have deep technological knowledge in the area of SaaS. Experience as a CTO, tech lead or developer is very much welcomed.
- Analytical mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Communication is key: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Process-oriented: A structured and organized approach to product management.
- Perfectionism is a plus: A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences.
- Sketching skills: Ability to communicate ideas through basic sketches. (No Figma designs necessary)
- Leadership experience: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Business mindset: Proficiency in evaluating features based on their potential revenue impact relative to cost and development efforts.
- User research: Experience in conducting user interviews and data-driven user research. Solid analytical skills to interpret user data and drive product improvements.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree: Preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
