Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in the Agricultural Netwrap industry. Based in Dromore, Co. Down, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales within the agricultural sector and a deep understanding of the baling and crop packaging market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth across assigned territories.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for netwrap and related agricultural packaging products
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, OEMs, and large-scale farming operations
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and potential areas for growth
  • Attend industry trade shows, agricultural expos, and networking events to promote the company’s product range and identify leads
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective clients
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking using CRM tools
  • Achieve and exceed targets set by the company in line with company goals

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in business development or sales, preferably in the agricultural or packaging industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Hunter-like attitude
  • Strong knowledge of netwrap, silage film, baling twine, and other crop packaging products is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Full driving licence

Preferred Qualities

  • Familiarity with farming operations and equipment manufacturers
  • Experience working with agricultural cooperatives, buying groups and distributors
