We are seeking a UK-based professional from the Digital Infrastructure Industry to be a Network Infrastructure Instructor, with an enthusiasm to share their technical knowledge and experience with the workforce of the future. You will need to have current and verifiable experience and be knowledgeable and innovative. You will also need to have exceptional communication skills with a confident and engaging manner.

Joining us as an Instructor you will be delivering high-quality education programs that form The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework to a global audience. A formal teaching qualification or experience of contributing to the development of individuals through a training or mentoring process would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given. A passion for the subject matter you have experience in, and a desire to share your knowledge with others is equally desirable. You will be supported every step of the way, and undertake the train-the-trainer process for each program you teach.

Knowledge of:

  • Network cabling infrastructure architecture
  • Principles of data transmission over copper and fibre networks
  • Industry regulations, standards and best practices
  • Smart network technologies including wireless systems

Preferred experience in:

  • Delivering inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) solutions
  • Installation and termination of copper cables including UTP and FTP variants
  • Installation and termination of singlemode and multimode fibre optic cables
  • Testing and certification of copper and fibre optic cable systems

Additional advantageous experience:

  • Project Management of network cable installation
  • Design of network cable installations
  • Construction and installation of network equipment cabinets
  • Installation of containment systems
  • Experience in the installation of smart network systems (CCTV, Security and Access, AV, WiFi etc)
  • Installation of network cabling in Data centres
