Role Description:
Contracted to Upstream Risk Management, you will be permanently embedded within Amazon’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region security operations team, based in Amazon’s Liverpool Street offices. This team is responsible for corporate security, focusing on Amazon’s people, offices and assets across the region. This is separate from Amazon’s retail and warehouse security.
The purpose of the role is to create and manage a regional program to improve Guardforce training of the contracted guards present at each EMEA site.
The role would suit professionals with 3-5 years’ commercial or government working experience. Experience in corporate security is desirable but not mandatory. Expertise in designing training programs is essential. In return you will get to work with motivated colleagues and a highly supportive leadership team.
This role is an office-based role. Some overseas travel (2-3 times per year) will be required.
Duties:
- Conduct gap analysis of Guardforce duties and existing training system.
- Design training program that closes identified gaps in the system.
- Consider specific requirements of a regional (and later global) Guardforce, such as language and culture.
- Work with Amazon Learning team to build suitable training materials.
- Project manage the roll-out of new training system.
- Measure effectiveness of new system.
- Build mechanisms to ensure ongoing currency of training materials and 100% adoption by Guardforce.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the EMEA corporate security team.
- Collect, analyze and present on sub-regional, regional or global metrics to inform regional leadership decision making and issues resolution. This includes but is not limited to operational and risk related data, incident data, audit and assurance.
- Assist regional operations team with high priority tasks and projects.
- Support Regional Operations Manager with evidence collection and data.
- Draft weekly, monthly, quarterly business review for senior leadership.
The ideal candidate Experience:
- 3–5-year public or corporate experience in operational teams.
- Experience of security delivery.
- Experience of developing and implementing training systems for large teams.
- Experience working in a cross-regional, culturally diverse, ever-changing working environment.
- Experience analyzing regional/global data metrics that inform decision-making.
- End-to-end project management.

- Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence without authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
