UpStream Media, a digital studio based in West London, is recruiting for a Junior YouTube Channel Manager. UpStream Media owns a growing portfolio of YouTube and FAST channels, offering its clients content management, security and monetization.

  • Running and curating social channels across multiple brands using audience development strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise content exposure and value.
  • Presenting content in a way that stops thumbs and catches eyes.
  • Regularly using analytics data to improve content performance with an ability to react quickly to any platform changes.
  • Sourcing, editing and curating content from an extensive library.
  • Repurposing existing content for different platforms to help build the brands.
  • Writing engaging copy which aligns with SEO best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Engaging with the community, subscriber base and chat moderation.
  • Creating additional thematic video compilations and channel artwork.
  • Researching trending topics and YouTube algorithms.
  • Using analytics data to help inform the Studios development team.

Previous experience with YouTube channel management and a proven track record of growing brands or social accounts is required. Candidates should be able to work in an environment on multiple projects at the same time. Fluency with Adobe Photoshop / Premiere Pro or similar is essential, along with knowledge of different video formats, video compression, and sound/video synchronisation.
