Overview
Days/hours: Monday to Friday - but flex on working hours, let us know yours eg school hours etc
Starting rate: £25 per hour (freelance)
Contract: Maternity cover - 1 year contract
Location: Remote
Most meetings fall in the last two weeks of each month, so there’s a bit more intensity there.
The role
This is a classic, meaty EA role for someone who knows their way around high-level support. You\\\'ll be juggling lots of people and moving parts and genuinely keeping the wheels turning. You’ll be:
- Supporting the CEO, Exec Board and wider SLT (approx. 12 people)
- Managing internal comms and emails (mainly reading for context and nudging when needed)
- Owning multiple diaries – loads of meeting coordination (internal & external)
- Pulling together and circulating board/exec/SLT packs
- Attending key meetings remotely – minute-taking and following up on actions
- Booking travel and accommodation via Click Travel
- Sorting expenses (manual, via Excel for now!)
- Raising POs using their internal finance platform
- Helping prep logistics for the annual Management Conference (yep, it’s during baby arrival week!)
- Picking up light office manager-style tasks – filtering internal requests and keeping things tidy behind the scenes
This role is for you if!
- Strong EA experience – ideally with C-Suite/Board-level support under your belt
- A confident, clear communicator who’s happy chasing and nudging as needed
- Bonus points for private equity experience – or time in a fast-moving, investor-backed business
- Self-employed, committed to VA role for next year and available to commit to the full 12-month contract

- Excel – for expenses (very manual!)
- Copilot – used for meeting transcriptions
