You will be leading our Content team comprising yourself, Zoe (Junior Content Specialist) and Tariq (Content Manager), sitting within our multidisciplinary Global Marketing team, and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, Simone.

You’ll be based in our London office, which is one of five globally, alongside Paris, New York, Singapore and Berlin. You\’ll work closely with your Marketing teammates in France, New York and London, as well as our Product, Sales and Client Solutions Consultants teams worldwide.

The Content team helps shape our brand messaging and creates impactful materials to engage prospects and clients at every stage of the funnel. You’ll get to know, inside out, the topics our clients and prospects care most about and lead the team to create high-quality, valuable content that addresses these and helps us generate, capture and convert demand.

Shape our Brand Strategy

  • Shape our brand messaging, ensuring it resonates with our key ICP and personas and positions UpSlide as a ‘must have’ tool to reach their strategic objectives
  • Be the owner of our editorial charter (with our Design Director) ensuring consistency and excellence across all materials
  • Lead our full-funnel content strategy with a focus on thought leadership, ensuring we create impactful, valuable, and relevant content (e.g. blogs, reports, webinars, etc.) that generates awareness of UpSlide and the key challenges we address
  • Drive our PR strategy forward – own the relationship with our agency, ensure we are receiving regular, relevant, and quality coverage
  • Oversee our social media and employee advocacy, strategies (led by the Content Manager) and ensure it evolves along with our wider business goals
  • Be part of our AI squad to help shape our AI positioning and launch this internally and externally

Support Wider GTM Strategy with High-quality Content

  • Collaborate with our PMs/PMMs to ensure we launch new features effectively
  • Collaborate with our Growth Marketing team (and potentially a PPC agency) to ensure we are delivering impactful messages to prospects at each stage of the funnel
  • Work with our SalesOps team and PMMs to ensure our brand is communicated effectively across the business, particularly by Sales teams
  • Act as project manager for large campaigns and global initiatives, coordinating marketing, sales and product teams to ensure effective delivery

Leadership & Management

  • Motivate and inspire your team on a day-to-day level, providing them with regular feedback and coaching to empower them to deliver excellent results
  • Maintain and improve content processes and tools to ensure your team is working as efficiently as possible
  • Take care of the long-term personal development of your team, help them develop their hard and soft skills, and progress well within the team
  • Manage freelancers to help drive scale (e.g. SEO writers)

Job requirements

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS
  • Have at least 2 years of experience being an inspiring and supportive manager
  • Are a native-level English speaker (and writer)
  • Have excellent communication skills (in all forms)
  • Have strong brand and content strategy experience; able to devise and execute your ideas effectively and set appropriate KPIs
  • Possess exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with experience writing for a variety of mediums and personas
  • Demonstrate good all-round knowledge of SEO, social media and events strategy (esp. Employee Advocacy) and how this fits in with the wider brand strategy
  • Uphold high standards, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Show impeccable project management skills (including time management and prioritization)
  • Are comfortable collaborating closely with senior colleagues including Heads of Sales and C-suite
  • Have a passion for brand and content strategy; you keep up to date with the latest trends and innovations in the sector

We’d love it if:

  • You have a strong understanding of the finance sector (in particular Investment Banking, Financial Advisory, or Asset Management)
  • You have marketed to US audiences and are aware of how this differs from marketing to EU audiences
  • You have a background, or at least a strong understanding of, Generative AI
  • Have experience using G2 and user-generated content (e.g. forums) in your strategy
