The team

You will be joining the UK Professional Services team which is currently made up of 4 consultants; Kimya, Tasha, Abbie, Anna with Ella, heading up the team. We are looking for one more team member to make us a team of 6! As a team, we often work closely as advisors for each other on projects and regularly help each other out where possible. We run quarterly retros on our progress as a team (a great space for praise and feedback), have work anniversary lunches, and are known to frequent Dishoom for team breakfasts. You’ll also be part of the wider UK team of around 40 people across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. We have monthly social events ranging from yoga classes to karaoke nights. And as a nod to our French roots, every Thursday at 4 p.m., we enjoy “goûter” (an afternoon snack break) with treats brought in by a different team member each week.

Team goals

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Implementation Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with clear communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a natural curiosity. As a Consultant, you will become an expert in UpSlide and the financial services industry whilst delivering improved workflows and productivity to our clients. You will quickly be onboarded to be autonomous in delivering your own client projects and additionally providing support to Senior Consultants on more complex ones. A big part of your role will be ensuring clients use the tool and set the account up for success - retaining our 98% renewal rate!

Your responsibilities

  • Delivery & Adoption: Lead client onboarding and configuration of UpSlide on Microsoft platforms, applying structured project management to ensure smooth delivery. Running bespoke and impactful training sessions for clients to introduce them to the tool and secure adoption. Analyse client needs and tailor solutions that drive measurable impact. Run engaging training sessions and Q&A follow-ups to ensure successful adoption and retention.
  • Client Partnership & Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor and advocate for their long-term success. Communicate clearly and empathetically throughout the project lifecycle, navigating complex conversations with professionalism and emotional intelligence. Celebrate client milestones and proactively gather feedback to strengthen partnerships.
  • Innovation & Solutions Development: Collaborate with internal teams to design scalable, creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches. Submit product feedback and feature requests based on client insights. Contribute to the UpSlide user community through articles, videos, and knowledge sharing.
  • Business Development & Advisory: Spot commercial opportunities and share insights with Sales and Pre-Sales teams. Understand the financial impact of your work and integrate commercial reasoning into client discussions. Stay curious about industry trends and client challenges to inform strategic planning.

  • Task for you to do in your own time and send back to us (48 hours)
  • In-person interview with your line manager, Ella, where, alongside some other questions, you will complete a 10-minute training on a software of your choice (~60’)
  • Ideally in-person meeting, with the Global Professional Services Lead, Alex, where alongside questions, you will complete a 10-minute training on a Microsoft Office feature (~60’) and a role play. You will also spend an additional ~30 mins with Henry, UK Country Manager.

We’ll conduct a reference check to learn how to help you thrive! On average our process lasts 3 weeks.

What your onboarding will look like

Your journey with UpSlide kicks off with our 4-month onboarding program. This well-structured period is here to make sure you feel fully supported and set up for success.

  • Month 1-3: Initially, you spend time meeting the global teams and absorbing their knowledge through a variety of sessions. Around month 3, you’ll start gaining hands‑on experience through smaller, client‑facing projects, and you’ll serve as a key support on larger projects alongside a more senior consultant. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a strong foundation of the knowledge you’ll need in your role.
  • Month 6: At this stage, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to independently run projects and tackle almost all client questions. Equipped with deep knowledge, confidence, and independence, you’ll now be handling projects autonomously and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Month 9: At month 9, the level of complexity of projects you are allocated may increase. With support, the expectation is you would take this in your stride. Alongside your project work, we also expect you to start carving your niche as a consultant in the team; Where are your skills best placed? What can you bring to the global function?
