An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Nursery Practitioner / Room Leader at an independent children’s day nursery in Purley. Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team, leading and inspiring a team of practitioners while supporting children through their early years in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Your Role Will Include:
- Leading and mentoring a team to ensure high standards of care and education.
- Providing high-quality early years education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Planning, preparing, and evaluating engaging daily activities.
- Conducting observations, planning next steps, and supporting children's development.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensuring the smooth daily running of the room, creating a positive and collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in childcare (e.g., NVQ, NNEB, CACHE, or equivalent).
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an early years setting.
- Strong understanding and experience with the EYFS framework.
- Knowledge of observations and developmental reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
