Upsilon Global is currently seeking freelance CRAs in the UK as part of an exciting ICU sepsis study. You’ll be assigned alongside an experienced international management team, helping to drive this critical study from start-up through to close-out, working closely with hospital-based ICU teams and investigators.

This study requires CRAs that enjoy freedom and autonomy to make decisions and communicate collaboratively with the management team in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform all types of site visits including, but not limited to, qualification visits, initiation visits, monitoring visits, motivational visits, audit support visits, and termination visits.
  • Assist with document submissions to local authorities.
  • Ensure that all study related communication including e-mail is tracked, printed and filed as required.
  • Track patient recruitment by contacting investigators as specified for the study and discussing potential study risks and opportunities with the Project Manager and LCRA.
  • Liaise with all other appropriate departments to ensure the smooth running of the study.
  • Other ad-hoc CRA duties.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Lifesciences related degree (BSc/MSc/PhD).
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
  • Sound knowledge of ICH/GCP and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience using clinical trial management systems.

Other skills and abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (local language skills beneficial depending on country).
  • Experience working in ICU, infectious diseases, or sepsis studies beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience monitoring hospital-based studies is advantageous.
  • Good computer literacy with working knowledge of PCs, Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Full driving license where applicable.
