Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home.

- Ensure safeguarding concerns are reported and managed appropriately.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure the home complies with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, Safeguarding legislation, and Ofsted requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, policies, and reports.
- Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections.
Partnership Working
- Liaise with local authorities, social workers, education providers, and healthcare professionals.
- Attend meetings, reviews, and professional forums as required.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
