Join Upscope as our newest Account Executive, and take full ownership of inbound deals, customer relationships, and renewals in a growing SaaS team. Upscope makes cobrowsing software that helps support and sales teams see and guide customers through their screen in real time – no downloads required. This role focuses on UserView, our product for support and onboarding teams.
Location: Soho, London (office based)
Compensation: £29,000 – £34,000 base + commission + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Own lead generation and qualification: spot the right people, start conversations, and move them through to booked demos.
- Run discovery calls and product demos: lead engaging, tailored demos that focus on real customer problems.
- Negotiate and close deals: own the sales conversation end‑to‑end, handle objections, navigate pricing discussions, and close deals that make sense for both the customer and Upscope.
- Build and grow client relationships: stay close to accounts, build strong relationships, and ensure they’re happy and supported.
- Own onboarding experience: ensure new customers are successfully set up and start with confidence.
- Monitor customer health and engagement: track usage, spot risks, and ensure customers receive real value.
- Serve as main point of contact: handle questions, share updates, and prevent anything from slipping through the cracks.
- Provide customer support: respond to inbound queries, troubleshoot issues, and deliver clear, timely support via Intercom.
- Gather and share customer feedback: ask relevant questions and feed insights back to the team to shape product improvements.
Work Hours: Because a significant part of our customer base is in the US, you’ll need flexibility on working hours – expect a few calls or demos in the evening each week. We work around this as a team and you’ll have flexibility during the day to balance it out.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales, account management, or a hybrid role.
- Comfortable owning customer relationships from start to finish.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercially minded, focused on long‑term customer value.
- Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Willingness to accommodate occasional evening calls for US customers.
- Comfortable working in a small, dynamic team and figuring things out on the fly.
- Ability to grasp a technical SaaS product and explain it clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with CRM or support tools (experience with Intercom is a bonus).
