What you’ll do:
- Monday to Friday 40 Hours weekly. Mobile Mechanic will cover UPS Package Centres in the Central/Midlands area of the country.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, various conveyor equipment and the completion of appropriate paperwork.
- Carry out reactive repairs, troubleshooting on conveyor systems in the event of breakdowns.
- The Mobile Mechanic will be expected to answer mobile phone outside normal working hours.
- Centre spares are stored orderly and replacements are ordered to maintain stock levels.
- Ensure stock levels in works van are maintained and kept in an orderly clean condition.
- Completion of minor building maintenance, welding, general maintenance including heating, electric and ventilation repairs.
