Overview
We have an exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity to join UPS as part of the HR team, providing full employee relations and recruitment support at our Cardiff, Swansea and Gloucester sites. The role supports the 24/7 operations of UPS and requires flexibility with regular travel and varying working times. To front line employees you are an approachable, experienced individual who can offer impartial advice on Company policies and procedures. To management you provide proactive HR consultative services in areas of employee relations, talent management, absence management and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full HR support to local management and employees, including ownership of the recruitment process and guidance on all employment relations issues.
- Maintain strict compliance standards including the completion of background checks.
- Conduct audits in HR owned matters to maintain high company standards.
- Be an ambassador of company standards and expectations.
Essentials
- Full UK driving license and personal car with business travel insurance
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Up to date understanding of employment law and UPS policies & procedures
- Able to demonstrate the successful management of multiple priorities and tasks
- Self motivated, organised and able to accommodate varying working hours
