This position is responsible for promoting and initiating sales revenue for defined sales territories. He/She works directly with the Patch of Land Sales Team to explore solutions sales leads and identify solutions opportunities. This position develops a thorough understanding of customer processes and business objectives and capitalises on the value that UPS can offer their business. He/She creates value for customers by leveraging UPS's expertise in the areas of engineering, technology, finance, and supply chain design. This position provides consultative sales support to the UPS sales organisation to enhance and improve customers' businesses using value-added and configurable solutions. We deliver almost anything anywhere it needs to go so we have a rock solid base for our ambitious growth plans. Your job will be to build on our industry-leading reputation to make them a reality.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates virtual meetings with customers and solution experts to address project implementation challenges and modifications and demonstrate solution functionality, solicit feedback, and address questions.
- Maintains customer relationships to ensure solutions meet customers' needs and expectations.
- Documents and reports account activity (e.g., virtual customer visits and phone calls, training, etc.) to ensure account team members are informed of customer activity.
- Documents solutions in the project management tool (i.e., TEAMS) and logs customer calls and virtual meetings on the account management system to report account activity and ensure account team members are informed of customer activity.
- Conducts formal and informal training (i.e., technology solutions) to ensure the sales force remains current with UPS solutions and enhancements.
- Prepares and presents reports (e.g., trends, technology initiatives, etc.) to provide relevant and current information to the district sales staff.
- Registers customers for products and delivers product training to ensure customers have the education and information to effectively use UPS's products.
