The Customer Relations Specialist serves as the primary liaison between Marken and its customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence. This role is responsible for building strong client relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing customer expectations, and supporting the successful execution of logistics programs. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with customers to establish and maintain agreed service levels, response standards, and performance expectations, ensuring these standards are consistently met or exceeded throughout program delivery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, Account Management teams, and internal operational departments to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across multiple business functions to ensure operational activities align with customer requirements, Marken network guidelines, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage customer requests for enhanced services, special handling requirements, and increased shipment monitoring, ensuring timely communication and successful execution.
- Work closely with customer logistics teams to identify, develop, and implement solutions that support new business requirements while maintaining compliance with Marken operational standards.
- Coordinate and participate in regular customer meetings to review program performance, discuss service metrics, address operational concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, customer relations, account management, or logistics coordination.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, clinical trials, or transportation/logistics industry is an advantage.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
