Job Description:
Maintenance Engineer
Join our team and play a vital role in keeping our automated sortation systems, conveyors, and facility equipment running safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on plant and facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults on conveyors, automation systems, motors, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and control panels.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain operational performance.
- Perform mechanical maintenance, including work on bearings, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Support the installation and upgrade of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with operations teams and provide clear shift handovers to ensure smooth site performance.
What We're Looking For
