Your role is to demonstrate value and present solutions to new and existing businesses through close alignment with the National territory account managers. As a UPS Senior Customer Solutions Consultant, you will have monthly and annual revenue targets to achieve as well as supporting the sales team of your aligned territory. To be successful in the role, you must have exceptional organisational and communication skills as you will present to different industry verticals. The territory primarily covers the Midlands and surrounding areas so willingness to travel is essential.
WHAT YOU DO- Be accountable for your territory and opportunity pipeline through proactive engagement with the account management team.
- Create and maintain customer presentations with clear value propositions.
- Develop and maintain sales opportunities captured in the CRM (Salesforce) by working closely with the account managers and the Solutions implementation team.
- Analyze supply chains and business processes to identify customer challenges and position standard or customised solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other departments and countries to continuously expand your internal network.
- Take part in a wide range of training courses and receive the most important know-how for your job – not only at the beginning, but throughout your time with us.
- Manage your own customers together with the sales department and develop strategies for their further development.
- Oversee project management for various customer projects, acting as an interface between customer, sales, and specialist departments.
- Ensure sales targets and customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (Preferred).
- Experience in Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer sales (Preferred).
- Enjoyment of communication and teamwork.
- Analytical and creative thinking.
- Ideally knowledge of logistical workflows.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum one year residency and right to work in the UK.
- A full, clean driving license (for at least two years).

- Documents and reports account activity and project events on Salesforce (e.g., customer visits and phone calls, training, etc.) to ensure account team members are informed of customer activity.
- Conducts formal and informational training (i.e., technology solutions) to ensure the sales force remains current with UPS solutions and enhancements.
- Prepares and presents reports (e.g., trends, technology initiatives, etc.) to provide relevant and current information to the district sales staff.
- Registers customers for products and delivers product training to ensure customers have the education and information to effectively use UPS's products.
