Job Description

As a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Apprentice Mechanic, you’ll train to maintain and repair the essential vehicles and machinery that keep airport operations moving — from electric and hybrid equipment to heavy‑duty diesel vehicles and 80‑tonne aircraft tractors. You’ll gain real experience from day one while working toward a recognised Level 3 qualification.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00AM – 15:30PM
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, and routine maintenance
- Assist experienced technicians with repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Maintain accurate service records and report issues clearly and promptly
- Support urgent repairs and breakdowns in a fast‑paced airport environment
