The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of ACR Entity Reporting activities and supporting the smooth running of Statutory reporting (US GAAP and Local GAAP) and month end close activities. He/She will manage the work of the Statutory Accountants, as well as the overall audit and financial statement preparation process.
Job duties:
- Manage work of the Statutory Accounting team setting a clear ethos of high quality and deadline driven culture
- Coaching and development of Statutory Accounting team
- Oversee the end-to-end Local Statutory Audit process and Local Accounts Statutory filing to ensure that all submissions are on time, accurate and compliant.
- Managing implementation and reconciliation of secondary ledgers and local books.
- Oversight of EY co-sourcing relationship guiding partnership and seamless quality output
- Support ad hoc activities such technical accounting expertise and special projects
- Support and develop a culture of process management and improvement
- Identification and resolution of key risks
- Assess, understand and manage interdependencies between work streams and drive collaboration between all involved parties to resolve issues
- Manage reporting and stakeholder communication
- Oversee smooth running of a high quality and timely month end close

Knowledge Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting or business
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience
- Audit and Statutory Accounting experience
- Experience managing others
- Detailed knowledge of accounting processes
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- US GAAP experience/shared service environment
- Working with multi-currency consolidations including complex currency transactions & structures
- Previous experience working with an outsourced accounting function
- Experienced with managing a diverse team
