Overview

As a Treasury Analyst at UPS, you will support day-to-day treasury operations across multiple units and entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You’ll collaborate with finance, legal, and banking partners to optimize cash management and reporting while upholding controls. The role involves audits, system improvements, and managing bank accounts to support the company’s global treasury needs. This position offers exposure to SOX, regulatory compliance, and cross‑functional initiatives within a leading logistics organization. You will contribute to impactful treasury projects and help scale processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily treasury operations across multiple business units and legal entities
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the business to support evolving treasury requirements
• Manage and conduct internal Treasury audits, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and control requirements
• Coordinate and support external audit activities, including SOX audits, by responding to information requests, providing documentation, and facilitating auditor engagement
• Manage bank account lifecycle activities, including opening, maintenance, and closures
• Reconcile reports and ensure accuracy of data across systems; identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
• Issue and manage Bank Guarantees in line with business and regulatory requirements
• Prepare accurate and timely management reporting across daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles
• Contribute to projects, system implementations, and continuous process improvement initiatives

Key requirements

• Previous experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting is preferred but not necessary (1–2 years)
• Working towards a professional accounting or treasury qualification would also be an advantage but not necessary
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Knowledge of Access or Treasury Management Systems would be beneficial
