Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our UK operations team in Milton Keynes. This role is central to coordinating international logistics activities, managing operational documentation, liaising with global partners, and ensuring smooth execution of import/export shipments in compliance with local and international regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, finance, sales, and overseas partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities for international import and export shipments
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, overseas agents, and local partners
- Track shipments, manage timelines, and proactively resolve operational issues
- Work closely with finance on cost tracking, supplier invoices, and client billing support
- Update internal systems, trackers, and CRM tools with operational data
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes and SOPs
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or operations coordination
- Strong understanding of international shipping and basic customs processes
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
