This is a hybrid Duty Solicitor role based in Leek; experience in Motoring Law is highly desirable. Proficient in client interviewing, evidence review, case analysis, and preparation of legal submissions and advocacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in straightforward terms. Ability to manage a varied caseload, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure, including out-of-hours duties. Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with good IT skills for remote work, digital case management, and secure communication. Strong commitment to client care, confidentiality, ethical practice, and equality, diversity, and inclusion. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, showing sound judgment and a proactive approach. Experience in Legal Aid work and familiarity with relevant regulations and procedures is an advantage.
