As Uprated continues to grow, we’re looking to welcome an experienced SEO Executive to join our talented team and work with our expanding list of clients — many of which are household names.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in SEO who’s ready to take more ownership of client accounts, contribute to strategy, and deliver measurable results. You’ll be hands‑on with technical audits, keyword research, content optimisation, reporting and client comms — all with the aim of improving search visibility and performance.
Our clients predominantly sit in the ecommerce, outdoors, home and lifestyle and beauty sectors, so you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and engage with a wide range of audiences.
We offer a relaxed office environment in the centre of Bournemouth, only a short walk from the beach. We operate a hybrid work model with Mondays and Thursdays in office and working hours of 9‑5.30pm.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
This role includes working in our SEO team within the agency and will include taking responsibility for the following activities:
- Help shape and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis
- Deliver technical SEO audits and actionable recommendations
- Optimise website content, metadata, internal linking and site structure
- Monitor performance using GA4, Search Console and tools like SEMrush and Screaming Frog
- Produce regular performance reports and insights for clients
- Comfortable communicating with clients around SEO — including updates, presentations and calls
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver cohesive, results-driven campaigns
- Support our own agency’s organic visibility through content and technical improvements
- Keep up‑to‑date with search engine algorithm updates, trends and industry developments
Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- Familiar with key SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush or similar
- Strong analytical mindset with a good understanding of SEO metrics and KPIs
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A passion for SEO and a hunger to learn more
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and inquisitive attitude, always asking “why?” and “how can we improve?”
- Ability to plan, organise, and execute campaigns with strong attention to detail.
- Strong experience in client communications, including presentations, meetings, updates and calls.
- Capacity to juggle multiple campaigns effectively
- Proactive work ethic & highly motivated.
- Passion for all things digital and harbouring a real interest in SEO platform changes and news, keeping up to date with ever‑changing industry trends.
