Reports to: CEO

Expected Hours of Work: 40 hours a week

Location of Work: DA2 8DP office, home and customer premises

Remuneration: A remuneration package consisting of:

  • £30k - £50k base salary negotiable depending on experience, a yearly increase will be provided over five years

The Two Companies:

The role will be selling on behalf of both of the founder’s companies, Hawks Crane Hire Ltd and UpRate Digital Ltd.

Hawks Crane Hire, which hires out cranes, contract lift and labour to the civil construction sector. UpRate is a technology platform, which licenses out its platform to operated plant hire and labour supply companies, who themselves operate in the construction industry.

UpRate: After 3.5 years, UpRate has found product market fit and now wants to ramp up its SaaS revenue by licensing its platform to its new customers. The Platform focuses on an array of suppliers within the construction industry, such as transport, labour supply and operated plant companies.

Hawks: In its twelfth year of operating, Hawks supply cranes and lifting solutions to the civil infrastructure construction sector. Operated crane hire is our primary source of revenue, but we also provide technical advice, specialist labour supply and complete lifting solutions to our clients.

Experience & Education: Ideally candidates would have a university degree, with the following experience:

  • Preferred (but not mandatory) experience in sales or business development
  • Preferred (but not mandatory) experience in selling a tech product or service. Sales of a similar recruitment platform would be beneficial
  • If relevant experience has not been gained in either of the above two requirements, a degree would be seen as a strong alternative
  • Comfortable presenting to a wide range of audiences
  • A keen interest in tech and developing a business bringing a new product to market which will introduce a host of benefits for all stakeholders involved
