Uppingham Surgery is seeking to recruit a NVQ2 Dispenser. We employee a diverse multidisciplinary team looking after 12,800 patients in the beautiful market town of Uppingham, situated just off the A47, we can be reached within an easy commutable distance.
Full time: up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6:30pm. Compressed hours will be considered.
Hourly rate: £13.17
Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Accurately dispensing and checking dispensed prescriptions
- Ordering stock and maintaining stock control levels
- Adhere to practice Standard Operating Procedures
- DSQS & CQC Compliance
- Telephone duties
- Administrative tasks
What we look for in your application:
- NVQ2 Dispensary qualification
- Experience in a similar role
- IT skills (Knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous however full training is provided)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills; dealing with patients in a conscientious and empathetic manner keeping positive, friendly, and calm
- Confident and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience of working in a team and using your own initiative
- Ability to abide by strict confidentiality
