We are seeking an organised, professional Receptionist to join our busy school. As the first point of contact, you will deliver a warm welcome while providing confidential, efficient and flexible administrative support. You will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrate strong communication skills, and support our school community.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 qualifications in maths/numeracy and English/literacy, or sufficient skills in numeracy/literacy to meet post demands.

Experience:

  • Responding to members of the public in a work setting.
  • Completing basic administrative tasks.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Child protection procedures.
  • Basic health and safety procedures.
  • Use of standard office equipment and software.
  • Ability to use initiative to respond to routine queries using standardised information.

Travel & Vehicle:

  • Occasional travel between Discovery locations may be required.
  • A valid driving licence and appropriate business insurance are necessary; evidence must be provided.

Salary:

  • Rutland NJC Grade 2 Pay Point 3‑4 (Approximate starting salary of £4,605 per annum, based on 8 hours per week).
