The Construction Support Technician will support the construction team in delivering projects efficiently and safely. The role involves providing technical, administrative and on-site support to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, organisation and distribution of construction documents, drawings and site information.
- Support site management with day-to-day coordination, including arranging deliveries, recording site activities and maintaining site records.
- Assist with basic measurements, quantity take-offs and reporting for materials and progress.
- Help ensure health and safety procedures are followed on site and report any hazards or incidents.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders as required.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry and document control.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required to support project delivery.
Person requirements:
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of construction processes (desirable).
