Upper Arley C of E Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Sports Coach and KS2 Forest School Lead. This is a unique opportunity to inspire pupils through high-quality physical education and outdoor learning. The successful candidate will promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and resilience, while delivering engaging Forest School sessions that connect children with nature.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across the school, alongside some PPA cover where needed.
- Lead a sports club.
- Coordinate and deliver KS2 Forest School sessions.
- Support pupils in developing confidence, teamwork and physical skills.
- Ensure activities are safe, inclusive and accessible for all pupils.
- Maintain equipment and outdoor learning spaces.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school community.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience coaching sport or working in a primary school setting.
- Holds a Forest School qualification.
- Is passionate about outdoor learning and child development.
- Can motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
- Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
