Teaching Assistant - Nursery EYFS 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am‑3.15pm (possible overtime available between 7.30am‑8.45am and 3.15pm‑6pm) Fixed term until 31st August 2027 Grade 1 SCP 3‑4.

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team. You will support the EYFS team in delivering high‑quality provision, ensuring all children feel safe, supported and inspired to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within the EYFS setting
- Work with individuals and small groups to develop early learning skills
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
- Contribute to a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment
- Support observation, assessment and record‑keeping
- Assist with phonics, early reading and number development
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with young children and understands how they learn through play and exploration
- Is patient, kind and flexible
- Can work effectively as part of a small, close‑knit team
- Has experience working with children
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Essential Requirements
- DfE recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience of working with young children in an early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing, patient and positive approach to supporting children
