Here are UPP we have Summer Assistant opportunities based across Park, Redlands and Northcourt university sites in Reading to provide efficient and professional support during the student vacation and intake periods.
The summer is a very busy period for UPP and we look for extra support in ensuring a smooth process for students moving into our accommodation during September. We need extra help week for a few weeks commencing 15th September 2025 including weekends.
The roles are varied and will change from day to day to ensure we meet all our deadlines. Please note that you will be on your feet a lot and some activities will include heavy lifting and manual handling through the day.
You will report to one of our on-site managers who will provide training, supervision and guidance.
We are looking for you to be friendly, helpful and flexible, able to work well as a part of a team to get jobs done within agreed timescales and to a high standard.
Any previous work experience would be useful but not essential for these roles, we mainly need you to be committed and willing to get stuck in and support where needed on the days you are working.
In return, we are offering a busy and interesting environment to work and an hourly rate of £12.60 p/h.
