Here at UPP we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Management Assistant to join our Kings Cross/Euston team. The hourly rate is £14.84.
The Facilities Management Assistant will be responsible for operating the Reception Desk, and a computerised system that controls real time helpdesk monitoring for reactive and planned maintenance work.
Role responsibilities include:- Provide an excellent and comprehensive reception service to the residence and to the offices; keep records of all visitors, contractors and issue keys when required.
- Assist the relevant manager(s) in the co-ordination of all on-site activities and day to day administration plus complete all regular reporting.
- Carry out walks of the residence and grounds, monitoring and reporting any security/safety issues to the relevant manager.
- Monitor the conduct of students, encouraging reasonable and fair behaviour, reporting any breach of the Code of Conduct and license agreement.
- Manage and monitor out of hours access to the residence, ensuring compliance with fire, health & safety procedures and any relevant residence instructions.
- Liaise, as necessary, with other UPP staff, university clients, sub-contractors, residents and conference delegates.
