The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 Β£ per year.
The role involves planned and reactive maintenance within residences in a safe working environment, assessing all Health and Safety issues before work commences and reporting any hazards identified to the relevant Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out reactive maintenance in accordance with the Service Level Agreement and providing front line response for all plumbing and mechanical work.
- Carrying out PPM in accordance with the schedule.
- Maintaining accurate records of breakdowns and maintenance repairs, including records for statutory compliance.
- Liaising with specialist sub-contractors.
- Carrying out statutory testing including PAT testing, fire alarm testing, fire door testing and others, as required.
- Reporting any Health and Safety issues relating to the residences ensuring all information is passed to the relevant persons.
- Assisting colleagues in other trades and locations as and when the need arises.
- Undertaking training as required.
- Participating in an on-call rota, when required.
- Being prepared to work additional hours, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends.
Offers of employment are subject to satisfactory vetting, inclusive of employment referencing covering the past three years and may include additional vetting and barring checks to ensure suitability for the role, which could involve completing a basic DBS.
