Location: UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin

Job type: 12-Month Fixed-term Contract of Employment (25 hours per week)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review incoming insurance claims for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
  • Verify insurance plans and policies.
  • Process claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Request and follow up on missing documentation or additional information.
  • Identify billing errors and re-invoice when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate claim and status records in Excel.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.
  • Comply with data protection, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret insurance policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and month end processes.
  • Time management and ability to handle high claim volume.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 1 year Finance experience.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  • High attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict submission deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
