This role will provide specialist expertise to teams working within Curam, support the evaluation of functionality within the Meditech platform, and lead the review, design and build of the Quality Risk Management (QRM) module and Surveillance screens. A dedicated QRM Lead will enable accurate mapping and optimisation of quality processes, ensuring that quality workflows, KPIs and clinical metrics can be effectively captured within the EHR. Promote quality-driven thinking across all stages of the EHR and related third-party solution development.
- Provide Specialist Quality Guidance: Act as the programme's subject matter expert for quality frameworks, KPIs, methodologies and best practice. Support Curam and programme teams to align with regulatory, compliance and organisational quality standards and expectations.
- Act as a Primary Liaison for Quality and Risk: Serve as the central connection between site-based quality teams and the EHR programme. Facilitate effective communication, alignment and decision-making on quality and patient safety decisions.
- Identify and Mitigate Clinical Safety Risks: Support early identification of clinical and patient safety risks across workflows and system design. Advise on mitigation strategies and ensure appropriate escalation pathways are in place.
- Lead the Design and Build of the QRM and Surveillance Module: Oversee the review, design, validation and build of the Quality and Surveillance modules and screens. Ensure they are clinically appropriate, fit for purpose, and able to capture required KPIs and quality metrics.
- Map, Standardise and Streamline Quality Processes: Work with stakeholders across sites to document and optimise existing quality workflows. Support standardisation of quality processes for integration into the EHR.
- Enhance Clinician Visibility and Decision Support: Drive the design and implementation of surveillance tools that highlight high-risk patients. Ensure that clinicians have improved access to critical quality and safety information.
- Develop a Comprehensive Clinical Risk Methodology: Create and implement an EHR aligned risk management approach encompassing patient safety impact, regulatory and compliance requirements, data integrity and information security, operational and workflow reliability, quality and clinical decision making.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in clinical quality, patient safety or risk management roles
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards
- Experience in EHR implementation, workflow design or digital transformation
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
