We are looking for a versatile hospitality professional with experience as a breakfast barista, including latte art, as well as floor service, hosting and events.
The Role Involves
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests.
- Seating guests promptly and responding to requests and queries efficiently.
- Taking and accurately communicating food and beverage orders.
- Preparing coffees according to assigned shifts.
- Providing safe, efficient and consistently high-quality food and beverage service.
- Setting up, clearing and promptly servicing tables.
- Developing knowledge of the food and beverage offering to answer guest questions confidently.
- Maintaining awareness of allergens and relevant guest requirements.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Experience in a similar food and beverage role, preferably in a busy, high-end hotel, leisure or hospitality environment.
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, which is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and outgoing manner.
- A proactive approach and the ability to resolve queries positively and practically.
- A passion for exceptional guest service and a courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- A positive and flexible approach, including availability for weekend and evening work.
