We are now looking for a Senior Specialist UK & Ireland Marketing Sustainability and Communications to join our team at UPM Adhesive Materials Graphics Solutions business. This position is located in Woking, United Kingdom.
What you will do:
- You will have an elementary role in driving UPM's market presence, awareness, and growth in the Graphics solutions business.
- You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies and impactful tactics that drive business growth, elevate brand recognition, and value within the UPM Graphics solutions business in the UK & Ireland.
- Your main duties will be:
- Drive the development and execution of territory specific marketing and communication activity to grow the Graphics business in line with global strategy.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to build out territory specific marketing campaigns and activity that helps enhance brand awareness and deliver growth.
- Build and enhance relationships with key channel partners and distributors to increase sales and share of voice for the suite of UPM graphic solutions brands.
- Support the management and delivery of customer events including event strategy, customer engagement, stand management, lead qualification, and data collection.
- Use data and customer insights to guide decision-making, drive data-driven and digital marketing initiatives, optimise campaign performance, and improve marketing impact.
- Form part of a high-performing team and strengthen marketing operations through supporting the delivery of scalable processes, tools, and best practices that drive efficiency and long-term capability development.
Who you are:
- You have a relevant university level degree and 4 years of experience in driving and executing impactful marketing and communication.
- You have experience in fast-paced business-to-business and/or business-to-consumer marketing. Prior experience in working in the graphics solutions business is a plus.
- You have a strong understanding of effective marketing channels and tactics with proven ability in developing and executing data-driven marketing campaigns with measurable business results.
- You collaborate seamlessly with sales, product- and business development teams in cross-functional setups.
- You have excellent written and spoken English.
- You are innovative, proactive, and flexible, manage pressure effectively, set priorities, and are a quick learner.

UPM Adhesive Materials strategic direction is to accelerate its growth beyond label materials into graphics solutions and specialty tapes. Over the past few years, the business area has expanded significantly in graphics solutions through the acquisitions of AMC, Intercoat, Grafityp, and Metamark.
