We are now looking for a Trainee Buyer to join our team at Caledonian Paper, Irvine, UK.

What you will do:
- Support the end-to-end procurement-to-pay (P2P) process
- Create and manage supplier enquiries and purchase orders
- Monitor supplier deliveries and expedite outstanding orders
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply
- Assist with invoice reconciliation and maintaining pricing information
- Maintain procurement data and supplier records within ERP systems
- Produce reports and analysis to support procurement activities
- Study towards achieving the CIPS professional qualification with company support
Core hours: 08:00 – 16:00
Who you are:
- You are organised, detail-oriented and motivated to develop a career in procurement and supply chain.
- You enjoy working collaboratively, communicating with others and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You have strong organisational and administrative skills.
- You have good numerical and analytical ability.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- You are a confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
- You are self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- You have previous experience in administration, purchasing or supply chain which is desirable but not essential.
- You have experience using SAP would be beneficial; however, applications are welcome from candidates without prior SAP experience.
- You are interested in procurement, logistics or commercial operations which would be beneficial.
