We are now looking for an Apprentice Multi-skilled Technician to join our Engineering Team. The role is based at our site in Scarborough on the Eastfield Industrial Estate and studying at York College.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow over a three-year period, supported by colleagues who are committed to helping you succeed. We welcome motivated individuals who want to learn, contribute and develop their potential in a fast-paced production environment.”
What you will do:
- You will work alongside experienced technicians as you develop the skills needed to maintain our technologically advanced machinery, respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- You will have the opportunity to build additional skills in areas such as automation, coding, working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical drives.
- You will also learn to work with other systems in our production process, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
In addition to your work-based training, you will attend college to gain the qualifications and skills needed to grow into a multiskilled technician at UPM Adhesive Materials.
Working schedule: 36 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am - 4.15pm, Friday 8am - 1.30pm

- You have successfully completed a minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C or 9-5) including English, Maths and science.
