Multi skilled Technician - Apprentice in Scarborough

We are now looking for an Apprentice Multi-skilled Technician to join our Engineering Team. The role is based at our site in Scarborough on the Eastfield Industrial Estate and studying at York College.

What you will do:

• You will work alongside experienced technicians as you develop the skills needed to maintain our technologically advanced machinery, respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• You will have the opportunity to build additional skills in areas such as automation, coding, working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical drives.
• You will also learn to work with other systems in our production process, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

In addition to your work-based training, you will attend college to gain the qualifications and skills needed to grow into a multiskilled technician at UPM Adhesive Materials.

Working schedule: 36 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am - 4.15pm, Friday 8am - 1.30pm

• You have successfully completed a minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C or 9-5) including English, Maths and science.
