We are now looking for a motivated and ambitious Production Operator to join our high‑performing team in Eastfield, Scarborough on a 12 month fixed term contract.
What you will do:
- You will work as part of a shift team to ensure smooth operation throughout all our production processes.
- Adhering to UPM Safety Principles, Values, ISO Standards, and Standard Work Operating processes throughout our production operation.
- Ensuring product and customer order specifications are met.
- Ensuring safety, process, and quality issues are communicated promptly to the Leading Hand.
- Supporting continual improvement and collaboration within and across cells actively.
- Ensuring effective handover of all the relevant information at shift changeover.
Working schedule:
- Monday - Friday 3 Shift Pattern
- Week 1: 6am-2pm
- Week 2: 2pm-10pm
- Week 3: 10pm-6am
Who you are:
- You are ambitious and keen to develop, with a clear interest in progressing into a leadership role.
- You communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
- You ideally have experience working within a manufacturing environment, but this is not essential.
