The opportunity:
Uphold is looking for a CRM Marketing Specialist to join our growing CRM team. This role is central to the execution and optimization of all customer communications—including lifecycle, transactional, and promotional campaigns—across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging. You’ll support the end-to-end process of campaign delivery: building and QAing campaigns in our CRM platform (Customer.io), managing audience targeting and segmentation, monitoring performance, and helping analyze results. This is a hands-on role with exposure to campaign strategy, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Content, and Data teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build, QA, and deploy omnichannel journeys across email, push, SMS, and in-app
- Execute lifecycle, transactional, and promotional campaigns
- Manage segmentation and targeting using behavioral, transactional, and engagement data
- Maintain campaign documentation, tracking, and reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- Monitor campaign performance and assist in surfacing insights and optimizations
- Support A/B testing and other experimentation to improve effectiveness
- Contribute to process improvements and operational scalability
Required qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, or digital marketing
- Strong attention to detail and QA discipline
- Comfortable working with campaign metrics and reporting tools
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
Bonus if you have:
- Experience working in fintech or finance-related industries.
- Personal and professional experience in blockchain and crypto is a plus.
- Familiarity with multi-channel campaign execution in tools like Customer.io
- Strong data analysis skills, including SQL.
- HTML/CSS knowledge.
