Requirements

  • The ability to work well independently and multi-task.
  • Experience in a similar role or a keen interest in pursuing a culinary career.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressured environment.
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends as per business needs.
  • Be a strong Chef, with the ability to train, coach and develop junior chefs.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Chef.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Excellent culinary and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
  • Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
  • Setting an example and guiding junior chefs.
  • To complete all training in a timely manner.
  • To comply with the statutory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them.
  • Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements.
  • Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team-player qualities.
