About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior General Manager for the Woburn pub, restaurant and rooms operation. The role demands commercial acumen, people leadership and a deep understanding of premium pub and rooms environments.

General Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience as a General Manager of a gastro‑style pub for a minimum of one year, or a proven track record in similar pub/restaurant environments
- Consistent approach to driving the team to achieve high levels of guest service at all times
- A strong leader and motivator fostering effective teamwork aligned with company vision and direction
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering high‑standard service
- Highly motivated, proactive and reliable
- Available to work up to 48 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Financial understanding, experience with P&L, sales and labour budgeting

General Manager Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the pub in line with company procedures and brand standards
- Lead by example with a hands‑on approach to training, coaching and development of the team
- Engage with the local community to drive repeat business, improve reputation and ensure the pub is a pillar in the community
- Inspire a passion for delivering great food and service culture throughout the team
- Overall responsibility for health and safety of guests, team and visitors, administering fire procedures and kitchen safety assessments
- Ensure compliance with licence standards as the DPS
- Oversee ordering in line with requirements while controlling stock and wastage levels
- Prepare team rosters at least two weeks in advance, inline with labour budgets
