Our pub teams work really hard with a real level of autonomy. Freshly cooked food, skilled chefs, and General Managers trusted to run their pubs properly. Menus, specials, and events aren’t handed down – they’re created by the people on site who know their customers best. That might mean in one site bringing in whole deer from a Royal estate and butchering it down in-house, or another sourcing seafood straight from a Hampshire harbour. It keeps things interesting, it keeps standards high, increases skill levels rather than de-skilling and it keeps our pubs full of life.
