A prestigious company is looking for an immediate start, contractor 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join a busy IT support team on a temporary basis, supporting users on a busy IT Helpdesk. This role will start w.c. 29th of June, apply today, interview immediately!

You’ll play a key role in resolving incidents, supporting end users, and ensuring systems run smoothly across desktop, cloud, and mobile platforms. Based in South West London, close to tube and rail hubs this role will be on-site during the initial induction period, followed by hybrid working.

The role:

  • Provide 2nd line support for Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and end-user technologies
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and user management
  • Support email services (mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and basic mail flow) and troubleshooting Outlook issues
  • Support Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, calling, and team/channel management)
  • Assist users with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint issues
  • Provide desktop support across Windows 11 environments
  • Deliver remote support using tools such as Quick Assist
  • Log, update, and resolve incidents through an IT service desk/ticketing system
  • Support mobile devices (iOS/Android), including Outlook and Teams setup
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices, including MFA and data protection

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Proven 2nd line IT support experience in a Microsoft 365 environment
  • Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Outlook, and Teams administration
  • Experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with ITSM / ticketing systems and incident management processes
  • Experience providing remote user support
  • Good understanding of IT security principles, including MFA and data protection
