Up Front Recruitment are looking to hire an Electrical Estimator for a fantastic client who is based in Sheffield, who are an Electrical Engineer and Contracting company. They work on various electrical projects across the country. Currently they are looking to expand their estimating department by taking on an experienced electrical estimator.
Your key responsibilities:
- Interpret client specifications - liaising with clients to understand their requirements and produce scope of works and quotations
- Undertake take offs and pricing up works
- Speaking with suppliers and wholesalers to obtain prices
- Attend meetings on site to present and discuss offers
- Answer any technical questions presented by the client
- Follow up on all tenders submitted
- Strong negotiation skills to aid in winning jobs
- Liaise with operations team for new projects and handovers
Skills & Qualifications:
- Familiar with enquiry documents and prequalification documents/requirements
- Good IT skills with Microsoft 365 (MS Package)
- Experience in electrical estimating
