A power infrastructure and groundworks contractor operating across London and the South East. With projects spanning drainage, ducting, substations, EV charging, and groundworks & civils works, they are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with industry experience to step into a role with long-term progression toward senior positions.
What You’ll Get:
- £50,000 – £65,000 salary depending on experience

- Hybrid working – 4 days in-office (Tadworth, Surrey), 1 day remote after probation

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the commercial team with admin and commercial duties
- Typing up quotes, tracking change events, compiling structured documents
- Working with NEC4 (a bonus), JCT, and bespoke contract forms
- Processing subcontractor payment applications and managing procurement
- Cost tracking and supporting variation and commercial reporting
- Working on civils-led infrastructure projects: drainage, ducting, cable routes, substations, EV charging
- Supporting from point-of-connection through delivery on projects up to 100m x 100m in size
What They’re Looking For:
- 8+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role (groundworks, infrastructure, or utilities preferred)
- Strong commercial and contract knowledge (including NEC4, JCT, bespoke)
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and cost packages
- Excellent Excel and document management skills
- Strong communicator and commercially astute with attention to detail
- Interested in long-term progression with a growing business
- Civils or power infrastructure experience is highly desirable
