Up Front Recruitment are working with a well-established fit out contractor based near Nottingham who are looking to bring in an experienced Project Manager. The company specialises in high-quality office fit outs and commercial interiors, with projects generally located within an hour of the office, giving you a solid work-life balance.

They’ve been delivering successful projects for over 20 years and are turning over around £8M to £9M per year. Their focus is on long-term client relationships, quality delivery and keeping their teams well supported.

This Nottingham-based fit out firm has built a solid name in the industry for delivering high-quality commercial interiors and Office Fitouts. They’re looking for a Project Manager. Most of their projects are within a short drive from the office, and they’re proud of the long-term relationships they’ve built with clients over the years. With a stable turnover and a strong pipeline of work, they’re in a great place to grow their team.

As Project Manager, you’ll be running anything from one to five projects at a time, depending on size and stage. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors and the internal team to make sure jobs are delivered on time and to a high standard. Most projects are local.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Managing the full delivery of commercial fit out projects
  • Health and safety on site
  • Liaising with clients and building good working relationships
  • Managing project programmes and timelines
  • Overseeing subcontractors and trades on site
  • Reporting progress to Directors
  • Supporting site teams when needed

What you’ll need:

  • Strong background in fit out project management, ideally in office or commercial interiors
  • Shopfitting experience will be considered if you’ve managed projects hands-on
  • Able to manage multiple jobs and stay on top of schedules
  • Good communicator and problem solver
  • Full UK driving licence
