About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of a major Extra Low Voltage Systems package covering Building Management Systems, Energy Management Systems, Security Systems, Communications Networks, Smart Building Technologies and Master Systems Integration. Working closely with planners, commercial teams, project engineers, software specialists and subcontractors, you will ensure safe, efficient and commercially successful project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading multidisciplinary delivery teams throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Managing programme delivery using MS Project or Asta Powerproject
  • Coordinating planners, quantity surveyors, engineers, software teams and subcontractors
  • Monitoring programme performance and managing project milestones
  • Leading weekly progress and look-ahead meetings
  • Managing project budgets, variations, valuations and commercial performance
  • Issuing contractual notices where required
  • Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Maintaining quality assurance and health and safety compliance
  • Overseeing installation, commissioning and integrated systems testing
  • Coordinating client demonstrations, training and project handover documentation
  • Producing O&M manuals and ensuring contractual close-out
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and site teams
  • Supporting technical problem solving across intelligent building systems
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget

Applicants should demonstrate previous experience delivering large-scale ELV, intelligent buildings or complex MEP projects within London. You should have a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams alongside strong commercial awareness and experience managing major construction programmes. Experience with Building Management Systems, Smart Buildings, integrated building technologies or Master Systems Integration would be highly advantageous, together with knowledge of BIM workflows or digital building environments.
